Notion Templates and More

If you don’t follow Notion on Twitter or any users of it either then you may have missed out on the news that Notion now offer free templates on their website. You can find them here and they’ve been pretty useful so far. To use them you click on the template you’re interested in, click through to the page as shown on the template and then click “duplicate”.

I did make my own MA Thesis Plan workspace which I may upload at some point (or at least a blank version of the one I use) but I’m going to be editing that to include some of the things I’ve seen in one of the templates. I decided to try out some of the things from the “Research Project” template; I liked the idea of having my Kanban board of things to do on the main home page rather than on its own separate page, and colour-coding the different sections (green – done, amber – doing, red – to-do) as well as the way that the references (bibliography) was set out.

Notion have also made some improvements to the site, like being able to select some text and paste over it to create a link (this also works in the WordPress editor!!), some visual improvements and made it easier to import Evernote notes to it which have been amazing.

This week’s entry is a little short since I’m a bit under the weather and away but if you want to see more then check out any of these blog posts:
