Of course!
So the first lesson is usually a "getting to know you" type of scenario and these are offered at a discounted price of £10 for the hour instead of £15 like ordinary lessons.
I'll introduce myself, share what I've planned based on the information provided and we can work on this plan to better suit your needs together.
If you're studying then this is the time I'll be acquainting myself with what you've covered so far. What you're doing well in and areas that you are needing help with.
At the end of this hour long session I'll have a plan for the tutoring; how often and how long you would like sessions, targets and work for each session and an understanding of what resources to bring along each week to help.
From this the lessons are all based on each individual's needs so explaining specifics about how these work is a little bit more difficult but to sum it up:
I'll bring resources to each session - information to keep about the areas you're having difficulty with and some worksheets or 'practice' for these. There are usually two worksheets, an initial 'understanding where you are' one before we go through the information, and then one for after this information to see what you have learned and retained.
Question and Answer - ask me anything you want relevant the subject in question and I'll try to answer them as best as I can, using this to craft later sessions.
Working together - creating essay plans, working on exemplar paragraphs and so on together.
