Hey! Tara here and thanks for checking out my blog. I update every Tuesday with posts about studying tips, advice and talk about productivity and organisation too. I’m also going to be sharing my language learning journey. If you want to keep up to date with my latest blog posts I’d love it if you subscribed to this blog.
I’ve recently downloaded the first beta of a to-do list/ productivity app called Almana which you can find here and I thought more people should know about it, so, without further ado here is my review of Almana!
It’s a very early beta that I have downloaded but one with rapid improvement and development that’s looking more than promising as a good to-do list app.

I’ll start off with the good first because there is a lot of good about this app.
Simple background with clear text which makes it easy to use and know exactly what you’re doing.
Separation of tasks into morning, afternoon and evening makes it easy to plan your day
Ability to create events which look different from regular tasks is ince
Without any instruction I instinctively knew what each thing did which is great since I didn’t have to spend time learning how the app worked, unlike some other apps which I have had to spend a long time playing with before I could use them properly.
It’s easy to reorganise events and change the time of day you want to complete each task
Like any new app there’s a few features that could use a little work. It is fairly new and it also doesn’t include some of my favourite features from apps such as Wunderlist, like:
There’s no feature for repeating events/ tasks yet
Unlike Wunderlist I can’t tag tasks either (which admittedly in an app like this isn’t as big of an issue since it’s a day-by-day rather than what type of task)
And that’s it really for the things that could be improved, and one of those things isn’t really an issue considering the type of layout this app has.
Overall I’d be pretty happy to use this app as one of my main productivity and to-do apps if I wasn’t already set up with Wunderlist and enjoying that (for as long as Wunderlist lasts). Considering this is the BETA version that I have I’m more than impressed with it.
If you’re interested in trying this app out for yourself check it out on the play store here and some of my related posts below:
