Apps you need
Going back to school or university can be just as scary as starting for the first time. But one way to ease those nerves is to make sure you're prepared!
The next few blog posts will all be part of the "Back to School 2021" series which is going to focus on helping you guys with everything you need for returning (or starting!).
So today I'm looking at organisation, specifically being prepared with apps.
Family Wall
If you've been following my blog for a while you'll remember me talking about how I organise everything with Google Calendar. This has taken over from that for my partner and I since we can make custom lists, see all of our tasks, assign tasks to people easily and share our calendars with each other.
I'd advise you to check it out for yourself since your situations are going to be different from mine (changing schedules for both of us, shared shopping lists etc.) but I definitely recommend this app.

This is one of the key apps I use for everything and is how my partner and I used to keep organised. I highly recommend it since it's so customisable and easy to use. The post I linked to above goes into more detail about making the most of Google Calendar.
I used to use this all of the time and it's great for seeing everything on your phone and laptop - great sync and sharing options.
I still maintain that this is probably the best app I've used for this - you can put in details of classes (time, location, professor etc.) as well as enter any deadlines or exams you have. The post I linked to above goes into more detail about this! But, simply put, the app is great for keeping a timetable on your phone, minimising pieces of paper or other apps you have to use to manage everything.
I don't use Habitica that often myself anymore since I started using Notion and Obsidian. This is because repeating tasks were taking up so much space in my BuJo, however, now that I'm using a digital BuJo system I no longer need it.
It is still a great app and was one of the first I found that actually worked for me, getting daily repeating tasks done and the gamifying of tasks really helped. This also set me up nicely to create morning and evening routines that are completely natural to me now.

Hey! Tara here and thanks for checking out my blog. I update every Tuesday with posts about studying tips, advice and talk about productivity and organisation too. If you want to keep up to date with my latest blog posts I’d love it if you subscribed to this blog.
