First of all – Happy New Year!! We’ve finally made it out of 2018 and into 2019. It’s a new year with nothing in it yet, we can fill it with whatever we choose to (which is where those resolutions come in).

2019 New BuJo Cover Page
I have my Cover Page – this was just an excuse to try and be a little bit creative. I’m not an arty person, which is why I stuck to leaves (excusing the one mistake I made). It also serves as a nice way to distinguish between years if I was putting more than one in the same BuJo

Year overview
Year Overview has the job of being a standard-can’t-write-on-it calendar so I can quickly see days and dates. There is a bit I’ve yet to finish for an overview page with more in detail parts for the months where I can write in things.

Year in pixels
I’m trying something with my new BuJo this year called the Year in Pixels since I’ve seen it quite a bit and found I liked the look of it at the end of the year. I’ve got a bad track record of forgetting to do these things but I’m hoping this year I can break that.

And to finish it up there’s two of my January weekly spreads that I’m proud of. They aren’t the neatest but I’m
enjoying trying them out and experimenting with colours, styles and shapes.

The pictures above show some of my 2019 BuJo pages. I’m using a different notebook as my BuJo now; I’m kind of sad to retire the old one but I had no more pages left and I can still look back at the last year and a bit it holds and see all the creative spreads I’ve done.
The best part about this? I had pens from years ago (we’re talking GCSEs here) that still worked to make these. My Stablio and Nibb fineliners were really fun to use to add little bits of colour here and there. My mildliners still going strong helped in the Year Overview.
I’m looking forward to keeping with my Bullet Journal over this year, adding to it, making changes and then being able to look back in 2020 to see how far I’ve come with it
Hey! Tara here, and thanks for checking out my blog. I update every Tuesday with posts about studying tips, advice and I also talk about productivity and organisation too. If you want to keep up to date with my latest blog posts I’d love it if you subscribed to this blog.
